West Beach

This home was designed to fit into the context of the beach community of Westbrook, Connecticut. The lots on Seaside Avenue are long and narrow facing Long Island Sound. This home takes advantage of the views of the sound to the sound. Many design elements featured in this house were inspired by the small home that previously occupied this site. This house complies with FEMA flood height elevation requirements and is inconspicuously raised above the floodplain.
