New Age Carriage House

In the context of Historic Ocean Road in Narragansett, Rhode Island, this new carriage house had to blend in with its neighbors. It also had to match the detailing of the 20-year-old home it accompanies. Our client’s goal was to create a 3-car garage with an attached entertaining space that blended into its surroundings. It features Andersen 400 Series windows, a NanaWall (accordion sliding door), Western Red Cedar siding, and 3 large black carriage house style garage doors. We built this new building in 2018, acting as both the architect and the general contractor, while meeting the owner’s needs and those of the neighborhood.
